Bojangles’ slam dunks NBA All-Star Weekend
Major excitement erupted following the news that Charlotte would host the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend. As a sponsor of the Charlotte Hornets, Bojangles’ Famous Chicken n’ Biscuits drafted LGA to develop a buzz-building idea that would engage basketball fans and celebrities while they were in the fast-food chain’s hometown. LGA and Bojangles’ created an attention-grabbing billboard, launched a social media sweepstakes and generated tons of publicity that highlighted a signature food item. Thus, the “All-Star Biscuit Makers” campaign was baked, using one of basketball’s most iconic rituals and the famous biscuits’ most important ingredient.
