What brands do you admire and why?

I really love the way that Orange Theory Fitness has created a sense of community both in an online space and in-person. I think the way that they motivate and support their members makes for such a welcoming environment, and I’m really inspired by the way that they’ve built a space where people feel invited to share their goals, encourage each other, and celebrate achievements. Plus it’s pretty cool that they take the time to get to know each member and remember their names (shout-out to OTF Steele Creek!).

What drew you to LGA?

From my first phone call with the LGA team I could tell that the people here truly care about what they do. That and much more was confirmed when I met everyone in person! LGA is made up of super talented people that support and encourage one another, and every day is an opportunity to learn something new.

What do you wish people knew about your job?

Social media is so much more than “posting on Facebook.” To be successful on social media you need to be a writer, a photographer, a videographer…not to mention being able to analyze data and develop informed strategies. I often hear social media referred to as a box you just need to check off, but the truth is that it’s a really powerful tool for brands to amplify their messaging when used correctly and strategically.
