What brands do you admire, and why?

As a fan I’m biased, but I appreciate how Clemson’s athletic department has invested in social media. Their content is constantly evolving to match internet culture and technology, but at the same time the accounts strive to maintain a personal connection with fans of all ages.

What do you wish people knew about your job?

Creating a brand’s voice on social media requires an incredible amount of planning. The process of researching, identifying and executing a voice online takes time and is only successful if you identify and respect the target audience.

What’s the weirdest thing on your desk, and why do you have it?

I have a Mississippi State cowbell from the 2015 Belk Bowl that I live in constant fear of someone discovering. It is obnoxiously loud, and if rung will immediately be banned from the office.
