What drew you to LGA?
Definitely the people. The second I met with the team here I realized how important and valuable it is to work with people that not only love what they do, but love where they’re doing it, and that’s definitely something unique to LGA.
What do you wish people knew about your job?
When people think of working in public relations they immediately think of big crisis scandals they hear on TV, and while crisis communications is a vital part of any PR team, there is so much more to the profession. In college, my professor had the class do an exercise where we had to pick out every article/feature in a newspaper we thought had stemmed from the work of a public relations specialist and over half the class failed to recognize all of them. Working in PR at LGA, our team continually strives to not only react, but to always be proactively promoting our clients and telling their stories through various media platforms.
What gets you excited about coming to work each day?
No two days are similar in my position and I love that. The diversity of our clients and the array of responsibilities brings a certain energy to the office that keeps everyone on their toes in the best way.
