We’re awfully proud of our new “Firsts That Last” campaign that is attracting a lot of attention for longtime client Visit North Carolina.  But we’re equally proud that last year’s campaign just earned the Best Marketing Award in the Southeast Tourism Society’s annual Shining Example Awards.

“Beauty Here” was designed to showcase North Carolina’s breathtaking scenery to capture the true emotions and connections that result from visiting here. The :30 and :60 TV spots were complemented by shorter online videos and social media content, all of which directed people to VisitNC.com for trip ideas and other resources.

The Shining Example judges were equally impressed by the beauty of the work and the campaign’s results: a 72 percent increase in web visits from targeted markets, a new record for statewide lodging demand and a $1 billion increase in annual visitor spending.

Now that’s beautiful.
